Ikea table reflection

This was one complex assignment to do in a group. You had to use math to figure out what dimensions fits perfectly. We had a lot of trouble when we were making the table some sizes were bigger than the other measurements. The table top was good; the measurements and also the legs were good. The only trouble we had been with was the braces. Angie had to do the legs and brace a, and brace c. Natalie had to do the job of making the table top and brace c. The changes we need was with the brace c because there measurements were big so angelica send me the legs and then we measure them; in how far were the legs. One thing that made this project easier was using Skype; Skype helped us communicate with each other instead of going to them. We can communicate much easier and we can even send messages in Skype so it did helped us. Our satisfaction of this project wasn’t so high, because after all we were stressed about it. The instructor was there to help us and give us ideas of what he wanted our table to look like and what measurements we could use and he helped us estimate what measurements went good with our table. Also, the instructor helped us by putting updates in schoology and a lot of tutorials to help us use sketch up and what tools we can use. He also helped us when our Ikea table legs were wrong. The legs were supposed to be in a different file. In conclusion, it was very hard assignment, probably one of the hardest I’ve worked one with my partner, but since we put effort into it, we overcome it.

I like doing this assignment it wasn’t that complicated but I did had difficulties. The main difficulty I had was that in the first day I downloaded a lot of furniture that it crash, I had to start all over. Another problem that happened is that furniture will float around and I had to figure out a way to figure it out how to make it in place. The part that I like from this assignment was that we could decorate our house how we wanted. This assignment so far has been the easiest from assignments we had worked in sketch up. I am really satisfied with my final work.
